Her electricity back! In the Heroes verse, Elle Bishop has electrokinesis which, in a basic description, is literally the ability to create electricity. Due to experimentation done by her father/the Company when she was younger, and due to her genetic make up, Elle grew up with this ability. She has shown incredible control over the creation of electricity (size/voltage) as well as in her aim. She can create anything from a static electricity-type charge to enough power to cause a blackout in four counties (though this was due to the testing when she was younger). Though she constantly has the ability to create electricity, she isn't always "on". In fact, most of the time, no one even realizes she has the ability until she decides to show it.

However, Elle isn't immune to the effects/pain caused by her own power. Whenever she creates and/or sends a charge, she can definitely feel it, although she's grown accustomed to the shock for the most part. However, when drenched in water, the electricity - like natural electricity - becomes stronger/out of control and Elle gets hurt by it, just like anyone else would. Her heart and brain can handle it a lot better than someone who isn't frequently in contact with it.

Later on in the series, she also loses control of her power due to a huge emotional trigger. Elle finds her father dead in his office one day - killed by Sylar - and she decides to go after him. When attacked by Sylar and due to the emotional trauma of finding her father's dead body, Elle let out the biggest charge of electricity she could, knocking herself and him out as well as the power of the most secure level of the Company. When she comes to again, she's fired. Due to all of this, she starts to lose control of her power, though she's still able to hurt others with it. She malfunctions and sends random, uncontrollable shocks throughout her own body, which causes her and anyone near/touching her pain. She eventually gains control of her power again once she's locked up and comes face to face with Sylar. She lets all of her anger (and incredibly high, powerful bursts of electricity) out on him and eventually wears herself down. She eventually forgives Sylar for what he did and makes peace with her father's death, giving her control over her power once more.

I'd like for the power to last throughout her stay in the game (though I'd be fine with it maybe malfunctioning somewhat or being reduced by quite a bit) and am planning, mostly, on her using it in non-threatening ways. IE: for sex and irritating people with it in a really messed up way of flirting. Unless something big comes up, I don't plan on having her use it for ~evil~ or to seriously hurt anyone (and if I did, it would obviously be cleared with other people). As for it translating to text, I'd just describe the electricity she lets out in tags.

» What makes your character uncomfortable?:

1. Elle has been keeping information about her life back home pretty quiet - powers, history with her father/experimentation, killing people - like she generally does in canon as well. (She didn't share anything with Peter for months.) She doesn't necessarily have a lot to share, partially due to being held more or less captive by the Company and also due to her memories being erased about the torture done on her. But she wouldn't exactly want to go around sharing every little detail she does remember with perfect strangers. People she's built some cr with would be different, though also still not something she'd actually want to do unless of her own free will.

2. I sort of headcanon that due to her past (being experimented on, spending a good portion of her childhood being examined and doped up), Elle has at least a slight fear of needles/hospitals/doctors. This could be something to use, especially if it ends up being sexual at all, because it could be the extremes that would trigger not necessarily memories of being tortured and such because those are permanently gone from her brain, but definitely make her face her fear of it. Or make the fear worse, either way.

3. Elle has some really serious daddy issues; her dad is the only one that was ever really there/around for her because her mother died when she was young, so she's spent her entire life trying to please him. Throughout her arc in the show, before her dad is killed, it's obvious how desperate she is to make him happy/gain his approval. He even comments on it in one of the episodes, saying that her need for affection was ridiculous/over the top/uncontrollable. Something could definitely be done with some kind of daddy kink, or maybe even some kind of dom/sub sort of thing.

4. Except for in rare cases, Elle does not like giving up control and even in those rare cases, she doesn't like giving up complete control. Having someone else take complete control of her (either sexually or non-sexually) would probably make her incredibly angry and uncomfortable, especially if she hardly knew the person.
